Work Experience 2006-2008

I Worked as an Inward Investment Officer at the Western Consulate-General. Working within the team to promote UK investment environment by organising various events e.g. Golf tournament, VIP Foreign Minister reception, seminar. Assisted leading Chinese investors to expand business, set up business, established global partnership, etc. I am capable to maintain strong links with existing and potential investors, also to built up retainable relationship with overseas clients. I was responsible for London Design Festival project. Planning and coordination of visit programmes, invitation letters of visa entrance for Chinese investors, arrange one to one meeting for our business delegations in UK.

My daily work involves assisting business delegations, Consuls, Consul General, VIP Visits and company calls. The embraces visiting programs and introducing UK to Chinese companies. Setting up meetings for both of potential and existing investors was also part of my work, as well as locating business partners. I am also responsible for filling commercial data into E-registry. I am accustomed to treating documents confidentially and maintained files of all incoming and outgoing correspondence. I’ve also co-organized Chinese Investors reception along with the Consul-general, Consuls during the CIFIT Fair in Xiamen on Sept, 2006. We called on reputable Chinese Companies such as Amio, KingLong to understood their business in the UK and meet their needs. It proofed to be a very successful company calls and well-organized Investors reception from the team.

I have worked in the following capacities as an assistant and trader to Foreign and local companies as my business（2005- present）

1. Worked as a public diplomacy assistant at the Canadian Consulate-General. I was responsible for two projects, Canadian scholarship, Canadian French-speaking culture events.

2. Assisted North-American & European Companies as an overseas foreign trader in the filed of Telecom, Industrial, Commodities in market search, sourcing, company calls, investment Fair, negotiating, paper works, translating.

3. Worked for a Forbes 500 US Eaton Corporation as an Assistant on the investigation project and research assessment in Shanghai liaised with US Investigations and Intelligence Corporations.

4. Worked as an assistant for a Singapore event planning company, negotiating with British Prudential Insurance Company. Translating for a Government construction project between a Chinese company and the Oman Government.

5. Worked for the Italian Company Frigel as the President's assistant. Assisted in negotiations with the Dongguan government to purchase land to build plants and import products from Italy as well as locally made products from China.
6. Worked as a Chinese tutor at the US Consulate-General in Shamian.
